Lush Golden Egg Bath Bomb Review

It's been a while since I enjoyed a Lush bath and I couldn't resist buying the Easter Golden Egg bath bomb when I went to the Meadowhall Bloggers Breakfast. Let's be fair it is covered in glitter so it does stand out a little, especially if like me, you're a sucker for anything sparkly. However, in all honesty I did wait a little to use this because I was unsure of just how glittery I would be when I emerged from the bath, if I resembled a human glitter ball I might look a bit daft if I was going out straight away!

My thoughts: Despite its scarily glittery outside, the inside of this bath bomb is actually a lot less daunting, the glitter disperses immediately when you drop it into the bath, revealing an easter chick-yellow egg shape. As with all bath bombs it foams and fizzes; this one leaves a trail of yellow water along with flecks of gold and red glitter. I tend to get into the bath towards the end of the bomb's life and upon closer inspection I could see that the bath water was full of glitter, it looked really pretty actually especially when lifting my hands out of the water; it actually looked quite 'magical'. Surprisingly enough, when I got out of the bath I wasn't a human glitter ball but I did have a nice subtle sparkle. As for the scent, it's very similar to the 'Honey, I washed the kids' range which is like a sweet toffee/honey kind of scent; very enjoyable and not overpowering in the slightest.

Overall I really liked using this, it's perfect for anyone with a penchant for glitter and anyone who wants to add a little bit of fun to their bath time.  As with all Lush products, it doesn't come cheap at £3.50 but everyone deserves a me-time treat now and again and it's a great alternative to chocolate if you're looking to buy someone a little something for Easter.

Neutral Eyeshadow - Liz Earle Signature Colour

Liz Earle make up has been really impressing me lately, especially with the Strengthening Nail Colour and It's been a while since I've discovered some new amazingly good eyeshadows so when I got the opportunity to try some Liz Earle ones, I jumped at the chance! I generally stick with my safe palettes (namely the first Naked palette and MUA Heaven and Earth) but when these Liz Earle Signature Eye Colour shadows came through the post I did get a little bit excited when I saw the shade names. As you'll probably know, my favourite eye looks are variations of nude shadows so when I saw Taupe, Nude, Chestnut and Bronze I knew they were going to be perfect!

These 4 shades are what eye shadow dreams are made of!! The shade names are perfect for each colour which is nice because sometimes the shade names don't really say a lot about what you're going to find in the pan but these describe the colours really well.
My thoughts: The shadows are really soft and they're really easy to load on to the brush, however you do have to be careful when applying because they tend to cause quite a bit of fall out, especially in the corner of your eye if you're not careful with the brush. Once you get used to exercising caution when applying these, they can be used to create some beautiful eye makeup. I tend to wear Nude all over the lid with Taupe in the crease for day time wear and then I darken things up a little for night time, Chestnut is a gorgeous brown with a slight shimmer which is great for creating a brown smokey eye. Bronze is a gold toned brown which is also great for taking an eye look from day to night. I'd really like to add Golden Sand to my little collection because that's another lighter cream coloured shade which would also be good to use as a highlight as well as on your eyes!
Each Liz Earle Signature Colour* is £13.50, which does seem expensive but you are paying for quality makeup and because you can cherry pick your shades you can start a collection which is totally tailored to your needs, unlike palettes which come as standard and there's always at least one or two colours that you never use! 

Affordable Nude Lip - Revlon Colorburst Balms

Back in January I wrote about the Revlon Colourburst Lacquer and Matte balms and I said that I had every intention of buying some more, only this time I decided I wanted to go for some more nude  shades. I knew I liked both of the formulas so I got a lacquer balm in 'Ingenue' and a matte balm in 'Complex'. What's more is that these are a great option if you are looking for an affordable nude lip product.

Gorgeous everyday shade, perfect for those moments where you haven't got time to 'keep within the lines' with your lip product.

More of an orange toned shade which is a lot harder to get right, would be great if you had perfect lips with no dryness but who has perfect lips?!

My Thoughts: As you can see the matte balm is more orange toned than the lacquer balm, although this doesn't show so much on the lips (for me this highlights the importance of also looking at lip swatches, your lips are a completely different colour to your skin!!). Out of the two I much prefer the lacquer balm in this shade because it's more brown toned, is far easier to apply and just gives an effortless nude sheen to the lips. The matte balm was a little more tricky to apply, upon first application it looked a little like concealer and it seemed to sink in to all the dry parts of my lips, but after exfoliating it looked a little better but still not as nice as the lacquer. 

If you remember, last time I wrote about the Revlon Balms I actually preferred the matte balm but I think that was because of the shade; both the matte and lacquer balm have really nice formulas it's just that I prefer some shades to others. The 'Sultry' matte balm went onto the lips so smoothly and didn't sink into dry parts, I do think it's just the nature of the shade that makes it more difficult to apply because it's not as forgiving.

I daresay I will be extending my collection of Revlon Balms because they're just so easy to wear, so watch this space!

NARS Laguna Dupe

I've been looking for a NARS Laguna bronzer dupe after I ran out of it and I was not prepared to spend almost £30 on a replacement, I was determined to find a nice high street one to tide me over until I feel ready to splurge. Bronzed Perfection by MUA really stood out to me on the shelf, the pan is massive and it looks far more matte than NARS Laguna, for £3 I could afford to give it a try. MUA is a brand which is full of hidden gems, unfortunately I think too many people dismiss them because they are so cheap but honestly I don't think you could get better value for money when it comes to high street make up. The Bourjois chocolate bronzer is generally the one people go for I think but I really wanted to discover something new...  

 

MUA Bronzed Perfection £3 
As I say, the pan is huge, probably bigger than the palm of my hand so for £3 you get lots of product. The bronzer itself is really soft and loads onto the brush really easily, it's not chalky in the slightest and it's nicely pigmented. I apply it with the Real Techniques blush brush and I can honestly say now that I much prefer wearing bronzer over blusher; I just like the glow it gives me and I don't have to worry about making myself look like a china doll.   

  I've done a bit of a comparison to show the difference between NARS Laguna and MUA Bronzed Perfection and as you can see there's not that much difference, if anything Laguna has slightly more shimmer and is less orange toned than Bronzed Perfection, Bronzed Perfection is more of a very light frost than anything. I have quite a light skin tone and Bronzed Perfection doesn't show up orange on my skin; I would actually say that if you find Laguna a little too dark for you then Bronzed Perfection might be worth a try! I'm really pleased I picked it up and it'll be a daily product for quite some time to come I think!

John Frieda Frizz Ease Range Review

You'll probably know by now that I'm a big fan of John Frieda products; I've posted in the past about the John Frieda Full Repair range, Sheer Blonde and the Frizz Ease Miraculous Recovery Mask sachet. Recently I've been using quite a few more products from the John Frieda Frizz Ease Range, including the shampoo, full size intensive mask, serum and hairspray.  The idea behind Frizz Ease products is that they hydrate and nourish dry, damaged and frizzy hair to restore it back to its former glory. I use heat stylers every single day so my hair is somewhat over processed and is always in need of some TLC. 

John Frieda Frizz Ease Shampoo* £5.99 

I've found it really difficult to find an actual shampoo which helps fight frizz and keep hair soft, for me the treatment has always been in the form of a conditioner but when I use this shampoo I can feel results as soon as I have rinsed. Usually shampoos leave my hair feeling too clarified to the point where my hair feels really coarse and unmanageable meaning that no matter what, I have to apply conditioner but Frizz Ease shampoo seems to help soften hair even without applying anything afterwards.

John Frieda Frizz Ease Miraculous Recovery Intensive Masque* £5.99

You probably all know what a sucker I am for a nice hair treatment masque, I've been using this twice a week and leaving it on for a good few minutes while I do whatever else I need to do in the shower. It's actually thinner in consistency than some of the intensive treatments I've used lately but I find this makes it easier to rinse but doesn't compromise the results. The only thing about this is that because it's in a pot it's quite difficult to use in the shower without filling it up with water, it would be more suited to using in a bath but rinsing your hair can be harder.  

John Frieda Frizz Ease Serum £6.29 This is and will probably always be my number one finishing product, I run this through the ends of my hair when I've finished drying and straightening it to prevent my hair looking dry and frizzy, I also find it helps to stop it kinking at any sign of moisture! You can also buy this in a travel size bottle if you're wanting to try it but you don't want to commit to full size; however I will say that I've used this for years and haven't yet found a serum which comes close. John Frieda Frizz Ease Shape and Shine Hairspray* £5.89 Admittedly, I'm not a big hair spray user if I'm wearing my hair straight because I hate that crispy feeling that you sometimes get. The last time I used a hairspray like this was when I was dancing and wanted a scraped back wet look, so I was a little hesitant with this at first but it has really surprised me! I've been spraying this closer to the crown of my head to help give me more volume and I really love it, you can get a much more even application than aerosol sprays I find and although it feels quite wet when first applied it dries really quickly and gives you something to work with when trying to inject some life into your hair.  As a whole I really love the John Frieda Frizz Ease collection, although I think I would prefer to use the Sheer Blonde shampoo with highlight activators along with the Frizz Ease intensive masque. The styling products are something which you should consider trying if you want that smooth, straight look but with volume and shine. 

Liz Earle Strengthening Nail Colour Review

Everyone knows Liz Earle skincare ranges but her makeup collection seems to be somewhat forgotten about in amongst all the hype of cult products like cleanse and polish, when in fact there are some really nice Liz Earle makeup products and I've got two shades of Strengthening Nail Polish to share with you today.  The chip-resistant formula gives a gorgeous glossy finish for up to 12 days whilst strengthening and protecting nails with avocado and starflower oils. There are 12 shades available and the two that I have are Bright and Breezy and Ebb Tide; two colours that for me are at two ends of the spectrum.

This shade reminds me of spring, it's a creamy yet bright and vibrant shade of peach perfect to match any floral brights you might be wearing this spring/summer. 

Liz Earle Strengthening Nail Colour in Ebb Tide* £7.50

I think this is a beautiful shade, not only because I'm a neutrals girl through and through but also because I think it's so versatile. Perfect for work and play, this taupe is a real sophisticated shade.

My Thoughts: The formula is gorgeously creamy and really easy to apply, I found that the brush is slightly larger than regular applicators which makes it less effort to get more coverage in less strokes. I found that two coats gave a glossy, opaque finish which didn't necessarily need a top coat if you didn't have the time. I didn't get 12 days wear out of this polish, I got around 7 days; but with a hands on job like mine I find that this is good going! I also think these are really good value for money, for a couple of pounds more than a regular high street nail polish this is a cut above. It doesn't contain toluene which means that it doesn't smell as strong or as foul as regular polish, although it does still have a slight smell. Each and every one of the colours in the shade range look really beautiful, I reckon if you had one of each shade you would have most occasions covered; I've got my eye on Pink Perpetue, Moment in Time, Pure Poetry, Quicksand and Grace... In fact just give me one of each!

MAC Paint Pot in Bare Study Swatch

It's been a while since I bought anything from MAC, I kind of went through a bit of an obsession phase when I first started blogging back in 2011 but since then the only thing I've repurchased is Studio Fix Fluid. However, when I went to the Meadowhall Bloggers Breakfast I was surrounded by ladies who couldn't resist what the MAC counter had to offer. I was so close to resisting but then I remembered how much I needed a Paint Pot in 'Bare Study' once I did a swatch on my hand (as you do!)

For me, this is a really simple, easy product to use. I very rarely use cream eye products, I'm not sure why, probably because I own far too much powder eyeshadow. I cannot get a picture to justify how beautiful this colour is, although fairly shimmery it's a really neutral shade; as a base or as an eye colour on its own this is absolutely gorgeous. I have been wearing this on most days, at least during the day if not also at night too because it's so easy to apply and it just gives an even wash of colour all over the lid with a little bit of added sparkle. I think it really helps make my eyes stand out; with dramatic mascara I think this looks really really nice. It applies like a paint (hence its name) but dries within seconds to leave an intense pearlescent finish. It's  also very long wearing; I have a habit of rubbing my eyes which will often smudge whatever I've put on my lids but once this is dried it only ever properly comes off with makeup remover. As with most MAC products, this doesn't come cheap at £15 but a small pot of this will last me absolutely ages. I also had £5 on my Debenhams Beauty Card so it didn't seem so expensive and it kind of sealed the deal for me as to whether I should buy it or not.  If you're looking for a nice neutral eye colour this is one you should definitely look at; my swatch does not do it justice no matter what light I photographed it in it just didn't look as nice as real life.

Primark is the Best Place for Disney T-Shirts

Primark is undoubtedly the king of affordable Disney products and the beauty about buying them here and in Primark is that they're a fraction of the price that I would be paying in Florida or in the Disney Store in the UK. Each under £10, I got myself 3 t-shirts with different Disney character designs...

The Minnie Mouse one is a slim fit t-shirt which I had to get in a bigger size because it is tight but it's meant to hug your figure more than the other two which are more of a loose fit with turned over sleeves. I think they'll be perfect to wear for either travelling or during the day with a pair of shorts, although I haven't quite decided whether it's going to be too hot even for t-shirts. And by that I don't mean I'm considering walking around with nothing on my top half, I'm just unsure as to whether I'll have to wear vests during the day.
They do stock a Bambi one which I loved but they didn't have my size, they also do a Finding Nemo one and several other non-Disney character and band tops and t-shirts. I'm sure lots of you will be partial to a good character t-shirt, if you are then Primark is definitely the place to be at the moment. They also do some cute socks in Disney and some other prints but they were £2.50 per pair, a little steep for Primark, no? Anyway, these t-shirts were all £6 each and a selection should be available in most UK Primark stores.

Nivea In-Shower Body Moisturiser Review

I'm quite lazy when it comes to moisturising; unless one of my body butters in within easy reach when I get out of the bath/shower I generally skip that step (hence why I seem to have a bit of a body butter overload in my cupboard). The new Nivea in-shower body moisturiser is the answer to my prayers because it brings back the convenience in moisturising. The proud owner of an Elle International Beauty Award, this in-shower moisturiser has been thoroughly tested to ensure only the best performing ingredients have gone into it. Its unique water activated formula is designed to be used on wet skin after washing, leaving skin moisturised for up to 24 hours.

My thoughts: It dispenses easily and smells like traditional soap, there is nothing fancy about the scent but I don't mind that at all because I can get a fancy smelling shower gel if I really want. To begin with I was unsure about this product, it felt so weird applying a thick moisturiser in the shower... and then showering it off! I was also under the illusion that this was a moisturising body wash not an actual full on moisturiser which you use after washing. However, after using it a couple of times I got used to the concept and actually begun to quite like it, it's become part of my shower routine so I automatically use it while I'm waiting for my hair conditioner to do its stuff. 
The trick is not to overdo it, the first time I used it I squeezed a massive splodge into the palm of my hand and tried rubbing it on my arms; it seemed to be never ending and made me realise that you don't need quite so much. It eliminates the hassle and inconvenience of moisturising after you've showered; no more waiting for your sticky limbs to be dry enough to clothe just shower and go. Just a small note, I think if you have excessively dry skin then this would not be enough for you, I think you would probably need a more intense moisture kick but if, like me, you have normal/dry skin this is perfect.
This is ideal for busy people; if you find that you don't have the time to moisturise after showering then this is a product you should pick up next time you're in Boots. It'd be absolutely perfect for any mummies out there who find it hard to find time to shower let alone moisturise because you can kill two birds with one stone. At the moment this is the only one in the Nivea in-shower moisturiser range but they are set to bring out some more scents.

Lush Meadowhall

I've probably been annoying you all more than enough just lately banging on about how excited I was about going to The Meadowhall Bloggers Breakfast but the excitement wasn't without reason. The North of the UK, much like most other parts that aren't London, is quite deprived when it comes to blogger events which is a shame because there are some very influential Northern bloggers who don't get a chance to shine at events unless they can afford to travel down to London so it's VERY exciting when something happens up North!
Luckily, Meadowhall in Sheffield has identified the gap in the market to attract bloggers to one of the biggest shopping centres in the north. I felt very privileged to be invited to their bloggers breakfast and I can honestly say it is my favourite event to date!

After our breakfast we headed over to Lush which was just a short walk away from the Caffe to be treated to an out of hours snoop of the shop and a sneaky look at their Emotional Brilliance makeup range and their selection of face masks. Our group went to the Emotional Brilliance wheel of colour first and we learnt about their philosophy behind the colours and what they can show in terms of how you're feeling and the person you are.

Sophisticated - I really liked this shade regardless of whether the word applied to me or not, Although I guess in some ways at that is now I felt at that moment in time because I'd dressed up in a grey swing dress with tights and boots; this is quite 'dressed up' for me as I'm usually a jeans and tee kind of person when I'm at home. In Control and Power - these two made me laugh when I saw them; there have been jokes made about how I like to be in charge and I'm a bit 'power mad'. I don't think I am, I like being in a position of authority but I guess that's because that's what I've trained to do. I've also always been quite a bossy confident person, in a group situation I am willing to take control and I like my voice to be heard. So although I was a little bit embarrassed at the outcome to begin with, thinking about it it's actually quite accurate! As for the actual colours, I love electric blue, not necessarily as makeup but I'm always drawn to blue shirts and patterns.

Next was face mask making; we had a look at all the Skincare Lush had to offer and although I've tried a lush face mask before I didn't realise how extensive their Skincare range was so it was a real eye opener for me. Next we all put our blue gloves on and got down to making a face mask with fresh ingredients. Catastrophe Cosmetic was the mask of choice, with fresh blueberries and chamomile it's a great mask for problem skin and for injecting some moisture into thirsty skin. We added crushed fresh blueberries, calamine powder, talc, glycerine, almond oil and chamomile blue oil and mixed them all together to make a thick creamy face mask. We each took a pot and divided the mixture between ourselves to take home. Lush were also kind enough to let us take home a cleanser of our choice as well as a spray toner which I though was insanely generous! 
After the talks, the store opened at 10am and we were free to browse and have a chat and a drink with each other. I went straight over to the Golden Egg bath bombs and grabbed one of those, had a chat with Beth and the lovely Meadowhall ladies then took off to do a bit of shopping in the rest of the centre. I met up with Georgina, Charley, Becky and Joanna in a Debenhams and we all did a bit of enabled shopping at MAC and several other shops!  
I had an amazing morning at Meadowhall Bloggers Breakfast and I loved meeting some more bloggers, I've already said it a million times but thanks to Meadowhall for inviting me and thanks to Lush for having us!

Zoeva Buffer Brush Review

I never thought I'd say this but I have found a better brush for foundation than the Sigma F80 brush. Zoeva are a German brush brand who have been coveted by some of the biggest UK bloggers, I had always fancied trying some of the brushes but the £7.50 delivery charge on the Zoeva website put me off somewhat. However, I realised that Love Makeup sold Zoeva brushes and after a bit of enabling from Thumbelina Lillie, I decided to treat myself to the brush that caught my eye the most.  The Zoeva Buffer Brush is a vegan, synthetic foundation brush with a flat top, perfect for buffing in any foundation whether it's cream, liquid or powder to give you a flawless finish. 

Zoeva Buffer Brush 104 £11.50 Love Makeup My Thoughts: This brush is so dense yet still so soft and flexible, it picks up product really easily but doesn't hold it in the brush like the Sigma F80 tends to; after one use the F80 tends to start feeling overloaded with product because it tends to soak more into the brush than actually ends up on your face. I use this brush by putting 2 pumps of foundation on the back of my hand, dabbing the buffer brush into it and buffing it all over my face. This brush makes foundation application so quick and easy; no streaks, no lines and no uneven application. It also makes the best of the product you have; 2 pumps of No.7 Beautifully Matte foundation is enough to cover my whole face. I've been using this for a good few weeks now, it's been washed and there's no sign of any shedding at all! This really has made me want to try more Zoeva brushes, the rose gold brush collection is on my current wish list. If you're looking for a new foundation brush then I highly recommend this one!

L'oreal Miss Manga Mascara Review with Lash Photos

I never ever wear false eyelashes; I can't apply them for toffee so I just don't bother, however this means that  I rely quite heavily on a good mascara. When looking for the perfect mascara I look for one that doesn't clump, doesn't dry out really quick in the bottle and most importantly one that lengthens my lashes. I was so made up when I won the new L'oreal Miss Manga Mascara from Bekylou's giveaway because I'd seen it in shops but never bothered to pick it up... but I've always been a sucker for any mascara promising sky high lashes!

My Thoughts: On first impressions I liked this mascara instantly, it applies effortlessly, it doesn't clump, it's true black and it lengthens and adds volume really nicely. I applied 2/3 coats of this and it showed no signs of clumping. The wand is quite an odd shape, it's fibre but it's cone shaped with different lengths of bristles so you can get to every single lash with ease. The wand is also ultra flexible, which again helps with getting to every lash. I don't find this as good for applying mascara to bottom lashes, I'd always go back to Maybelline Great Lash for that but for top lash mascara I really like it. You can get some serious volume and length to make your eyes really stand out. I'd say this is easily better than YSL shocking mascara, but then we all know that I aren't keen on that one!

Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb Dupe

It's not very often that I find a cheap perfume that I like, I've usually got quite expensive taste with my usual scents being between £40-£50 per bottle. However, just recently I won Bekylou's giveaway which included a bottle of Katy Perry Killer Queen. Before winning the giveaway I'd not really heard much about any of Katy Perry's perfumes and to be honest on the whole I pretty much disregarded most celebrity fragrances as I wrongly assumed that they'd all be as sickly sweet. I opened the box and sprayed it all over my dressing gown; out came a very familiar smell but I couldn't quite put my finger on what it was to begin with.

Katy Perry Killer Queen 50ml £12.99 Boots With base notes of patchouli and praline with dark plum, wild berry and bergamot this is definitely a Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb dupe, only softer and at a fraction of the price! The Killer Queen bottle is a little bit on the 'tacky' side and it looks a bit out of place on my dressing table because it has to be stored laid down but I can definitely overlook this given it's similarity to one of my high priced favourites. The fragrance doesn't hang around for as long as Flowerbomb on skin but for £12.99 for 50ml you can afford to reapply it a couple of times. Also, if you like Flowerbomb but you still find it a little too much for day time wear this would be a great alternative because it's not as strong and overpowering. Don't get me wrong I love Flowerbomb but I'm not so keen on the £60 price tag! This has changed my opinion of celebrity perfumes completely, this scent is far more grown up than I ever expected it to be and if you like Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb then I can't recommend this one enough. I think it's going to be a firm favourite in my perfume collection from now on! Thanks so much to Beky for introducing me to this!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer Review

It's not often you'll find throwing around the term 'holy grail' when it comes to beauty products, because I personally think it can take several months/even years of use and re-buying to actually justify giving a product that title. I did a post about what makes a product holy grail last year and even then I only gave two products the title. However, I am about to add another product to my list of 'holy grail' products: Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair. (I still can't get used to not calling them Collection 2000!)

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer £4.19 Boots This is Collection's oil-free 'Ultimate Wear' concealer, promising to conceal flaws, imperfections and blemishes for up to 16 hour wear with no transferring for long lasting coverage. As you can see it is a doe-foot applicator which will be hated by some, but as far as I'm concerned you can overcome and adapt by applying to your hand and then your face if you're concerned about bacteria because this product isn't to be missed out on purely because of its applicator. My thoughts: I've tried lots of high end concealers, none of which even come close to being as good as this and most are at least 3-4 times more expensive. The creamy consistency of this conceal means that it's perfect for blending into all different areas of your face; I use it for blemishes, under my eyes and also to highlight and contour my nose. I use the lightest shade which is 'light' because I find this is the best match to my skin even if it is a little on the light side; the ever so slightly light shade makes it even better for concealing dark under eyes. The shade selection on a whole isn't great with only 4 choices and I would recommend swatching and buying in store rather than online if you're unsure of your shade because the shade names aren't very useful in describing (but then, who does describe shades well?). It never cakes but always gives great coverage; the high end concealers I have tried have tended to cake on the dry parts of my face. For me, the '16 hour wear' claim isn't true, I generally get around 4/5 hours wear out of this even with powder but I do touch my face a lot and I have oily skin in parts. I find the doe foot applicator absolutely perfect, I just dot it where I need it and blend with my fingers; you can see me applying it in my minimal makeup for blemished skin video. And finally the price is a massive plus for me, I'm never worried when I run out because I can always afford to repurchase it!
No doubt I will try other concealers in the future but I believe that I will always come back to this one when all else fails. 

TRESemmé Waterless foam dry shampoo review

I'm usually an avid Batiste user, I have tried cheaper alternatives from Superdrugs' own but I've never tried a dry shampoo which is different in the way you use it. Obviously we all know how Batiste works; you spray it on your roots, work into your hair and then brush out. TRESemmé is very different in that it is a waterless foam shampoo so you pump 2 to 3 times into your hand, work into your roots and then instead of just leaving it you have to actually dry your hair with a hairdryer. Although this doesn't sound like the most convenient dry shampoo I assumed that it would be better because obviously it takes longer... Unfortunately this hasn't worked out for me and although I don't like doing negative reviews, I honestly couldn't avoid it with this.

My thoughts: I had high hopes for this I really did, but it hasn't lived up to expectations at all. I didn't mind that it took a little more time to use because I started to hate the way my hair felt after using Batiste but I've followed the instructions on this to the letter on two occasions and it's just not working for me. My hair wasn't excessively greasy either time, I'm not trying to work miracles on hair which is greasy beyond rescue; it's been no greasier than when I would use Batiste (for example I might have washed my hair in the afternoon on the day before when I have used this the next morning). I've worked it through my hair then dried it with the hairdryer, brushed it and it looked just as greasy as before, if not a little worse actually. Not a good product at all and I wouldn't recommend this to anyone; I'll be sticking to Batiste from now on!
